Christmas Babies

Aw, I love making keepsake boxes for new babies, especially around Christmas time. Here's a recent baby order I completed.

These boxes are 30 by 30 by 9cm and are excellent for keeping baby's first outfit in alongside all their cards and little keepsakes. They cost £20, fully personalised, plus postage. Hull Collegiate School Fair

It was a lovely day on Saturday at Hull Collegiate school. The children sang beautifully on the grand staircase which was emotional to watch. We met some wonderful stallholders at this fair. Elloughton School Fair Romantics!

Aw, the people of Elloughton are always so romantic! Every year they love to buy 'gorgeous husband' cards and, 'to my beautiful wife.' Aw, Dragonfly crafts were so lovely! You can find Sarah's work on Folksy. She makes lovely brooches, girl's hair accessories, sock monkies and more- really clever stuff. I bought some lovely hair clips for my little girl.

A Dickensian Fair!

The Fair was a bit chilly yesterday! The greenhouse we were in leaked in the rain and we lost all power and lights at 5.30 for an hour. We sold by candlelight! Very Dickensian sort of vibe in the end!xx

I have been creating my little wooden Christmas trees today for the Fair at Swanland tomorrow as they sold out on Sunday. Swanland Nurseries Christmas market is 2-9pm with carols, hog roast, mulled wine and lots of Christmas shopping. Hope to see you there!xx

What a brilliant day at Beverley High School's Christmas Fair today. Very busy day, constant traffic of people! Lots of personalised Christmas orders and many Christmas babies seem to be on their way! Some pics of my stall today.

I've been a busy girl in the last few weeks getting the website ready and travelling the country! Went to the Glasgow Hobbycraft show at the SECC which was so busy it was hard to move around. I wasn't as impressed with this as the NEC last year. Not as many workshops to go to. But, there were loads of fab stalls and i picked up some lovely handmade papers and cute ribbons.

The Country Living Christmas Fair in London last weekend was amazing - loved it! Huge selection of lovely stalls- spent far too much money. Met the lovely Mary Kilvert - she features a lot helping out Kirsty Allsopp on her handmade programme.Also, fell in love with Heidi Rhodes' textile art which is so beautiful.
